Package Includes:

  • Return flight (Wilson- Samburu-Wilson).
  • Accommodation on full board basis which includes:
  • all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) picnic meals,
    water, a selection of afternoon tea/coffee with
    cookies/cake, mineral water in the tents and during
    meals, campfire nibbles pre-dinner.
  • 02 scheduled, shared extended game drives in
    custom safari built 4 x 4 vehicles, open or open sided.
  • Airstrip transfers to/from Oryx or Kalama Airstrips on
    arrival / departure.

Package Excludes:

  • All drinks & spirits such as special wines /
    champagne.
  • Transfers in Nairobi (other than to and
    from our designated airstrips in Samburu).
  • Additional excursions not included above
    (private dinners, cultural visits, etc).
  • Extra meals and game drives on exclusive
    use basis.
  • Park entrance fees (Adult $70/-, child

Flying Package itinerary

Day 1:

  • Depart from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Samburu Airstrip (flight duration is approximately 1 hour).
  • Upon arrival, Welcome drinks and check in at respective hotel choice.
  • After check-in and some time to freshen up, enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge or camp.
  • In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Samburu National Park. This is a great opportunity to spot unique wildlife species such as reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, Somali ostriches, and the elusive Samburu “Special Five” (Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk).
  • Return to the respective hotel/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:

  • Start the day with an early morning game drive to witness the wildlife in their most active state and experience the beautiful sunrise over the park.
  • After the game drive, return to the lodge or camp for a hearty breakfast.
  • Spend the mid-morning at your leisure, relaxing at the camp or participating in optional activities offered by the lodge, such as guided nature walks or visiting a local Samburu village to learn about the traditional culture and customs.
  • Enjoy lunch at the camp.
  • In the afternoon, head out for another thrilling game drive to explore different areas of the park and spot more wildlife.
  • Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3:

  • Begin the day with a final early morning game drive to make the most of your time in Samburu National Park.
  • After the game drive, return to the camp for breakfast and check-out.
  • Transfers to Samburu Airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi.
  • Arrive in Nairobi, marking the end of your Flying Package Vacation 3-day/2-night  package in Samburu National Park.
